More of a "hall of fame", your character's Museum is both a monument to his legacy, and Soul Town's main tourist attraction. Proper management of the Museum can provide you with more money than Arena prizes.
Reception Hall[]
When you click the Museum icon on the Soul Town map, you are greeted by the Museum's reception hall. Its grizzled occupant seems to be the only curator, and as shown by the "Income" and "Bank" icons on his desk, he spends most of his time handling the Museum's accounts. Income is based on the Museum's exhibits -- which in turn are based on how impressive your accomplishments are -- and is measured in soulings or gemstones per minute. By purchasing a "share" of this income (5%, 10%, 15%, etc.), you get a steady trickle of cash which accumulates over time...even while you are not playing the game.
A potted mushroom monster lives in the upper-right corner of the reception hall. Notice the silhouette of a clover painted on the wall above it. Clovers from Training or the Arena can be fed to the creature, and it rewards you with additional soulings, coupons redeemable at the Shop, potions and scrolls, or even another clover!
Four exhibit rooms branch off from the reception hall: "Statues", "Trophies", "Armory", and "Gallery".
Statues[]
You automatically receive a commemorative statue for each Arena battle you win. More statues mean more income.
Trophies[]
There are three kinds of trophies in Souls and Swords: training medals, Arena medals, and secrets. Training medals, of course, are given for reaching certain milestones in Training; in order of rank (and financial value) they are bronze, silver, gold, laurel platinum and laurel gold. Arena medals are awarded for nine different achievements.
- "One-shot an enemy with a ranged attack."
- "Finish a fight with 100% of your health."
- "Use each spell five times."
- "Perform 15 super-critical attacks."
- "Buy all equipment from the Shop."
- "Unlock all Skills."
- "Max out all your Skills and Talents."
- "Defeat the final boss of the Arena."
- "..."
The final trophy ("...") is obtained by defeating the final boss. This is done by first beating arena level 30, which unlocks survival mode. Beating survival wave 25 will unlock the final boss battle (in the main arena area, not survival).
Finally, "secret" trophies are given for in-game mini-quests, which are discussed in the Secrets article.
Armory[]
Each piece of equipment you buy in the Shop is displayed here. As with your statues (but not the Trophy Room), the fuller the armory is, the more income you will get.
Gallery[]
This shows all of the enemy types you've killed (from the arena) as well as how many. The more enemy types you kill the more money you receive from this exhibit.
